This was on an impressive looking scroll shown to me by the village leaders. Tradition has it that it is a list of some of the more famous (and infamous) leaders from the valley:

Some clay tablets. The writing is quite badly formed and they seem to show scorch marks around the edges. Maybe they were not meant to be permanent.
